Introduction
The Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture
(MCAAHC) is seeking an experienced and energetic individual to fill
the position of Fiscal Services Administrator II.
This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure
of the Appointing Authority.
GRADE: 20
LOCATION OF POSITION: MCAAHC and BDM, 84 Franklin Street,
Annapolis, MD. 21401
Main Purpose of Job:
This position will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for the
Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture
(MCAAHC) and the Banneker-Douglass Museum. The main purpose of this
position is to manage and direct the fiscal affairs for MCAAHC and
the Banneker-Douglass Museum. The management and direction of these
affairs is directly related to the mission of MCAAHC to accomplish
its goals and objectives with efficiency and fiscal constraint.
POSITION DUTIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited
college or university or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university with 30 credit hours in accounting and
related courses, including or supplemented by 3 credit hours in
auditing.
Experience: Four years of experience examining, analyzing and
interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying
generally accepted accounting principles.
Notes:
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates must possess at least 3 years of supervisory
or managerial experience.
