In this role, you'll lead execution of your office's field operations to engage with voters and support Democratic candidates up-and-down the ballot.Field Office Managers lead all full-time and hourly staff of the office team. This will involve implementing cross-functional field strategies, coordinating logistics, delegating tasks to ensure team productivity, providing guidance, overseeing progress, monitoring performance, and achieving deadlines/goals. Managers must maintain staff adherence to company policies and safety protocols. You'll use your leadership and problem-solving skills to create a structured office environment that drives team success.The ideal candidate is adept at maintaining professionalism, navigating conflict resolution, and promoting clear communication across the team. To meet individual/team objectives, you must thoughtfully prioritize, maneuver, and track all moving parts of the office in a fast-paced environment.Our projects always include strong back-office operational support and strategic guidance.   • Interview, evaluate, and make final decisions on field staff hires.
  • Train new team members and facilitate ongoing skill development.
  • Coordinate daily field team assignments, logistics, and enforce turf discipline.
  • Strategic planning, execution, and tracking of activities across office territories.
  • Maintain/approve office schedules and staff time & attendance.
  • Responsible for company property, access control, and inventory management.
  • Facilitate shift briefings and apply learnings/insights to improve shifts.
  • Submit complete and accurate productivity/incident/discipline reports.
  • Analyze performance data and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Implement goal-setting processes, performance improvement plans, and track progress.
  • Follow and enforce progressive discipline policies with staff.
  • Delegate divisions of labor among the office team.
  • Conduct daily meetings with office team.
  • Maintain knowledge and education of project/stakeholder/company information.
  • Partner with client stakeholders as needed for special projects.Qualifications
  • Prior experience at management level in community organizing, campaigns, or related roles/fields with similar responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to calibrate management approach across diverse individual needs.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient with political organizing tools such as NGP VAN and MiniVAN.
  • Commitment to progressive values.
  • Must have a laptop and smartphone with data service.
  • Must be able to work in an active field office environment with moderate physical activity (indoor/outdoor).
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive staff/transport materials as needed.
