with Baker.SummaryThe Senior Project Engineer supports field
activities and spends a majority of time working with the Project
Manager supporting project administration on multiple small
projects, or one medium to large-sized project. This position often
functions as the "go to person," and may have supervisory
responsibilities for support functions such as Document Control,
QA/QC, Project Scheduler, Project Cost Controller, etc.Roles and
ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Engineer will possess competency
in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe,
productive, and effective manner. Note that the areas listed are

job.Supports Project Manager on the Management of Cost and
ScheduleSubmits and/or approves monthly billings and earned value
reportsManages development of critical path project schedule
documents on one medium to large-sized project, or multiple small
to medium-sized projectsManages analysis of targets and goals, job
cost summaries, and other reportsWorks with the Superintendent and
Project Manager to affect positive change relating to project
resourcesSupports the Project Manager by reviewing and negotiating
change orders and tracks statusManages the procurement process and
makes recommendations to the Project ManagerApproves field purchase
orders for standard purchase packagesAnalyzes project financial
performance and participates in the project financial
reviewsSupports Project Engineering and QualitySupports Project
Safety and Risk ManagementOversees the Work of Direct
ReportsEnsures a Safe Work EnvironmentParticipates in Training /
CertificationsRequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university and 4 years' of experience, or 8 years' of
construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experienceProficiency in Microsoft
software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointBasic
understanding of construction software such as Primavera,
TimberlineAbility to understand, customize and modify
spreadsheetsRequires ability to maneuver in and out of job site
trailers and various stages of job site terrainsFrequently required
to use hands to handle or feelRegularly required to sit, talk and
listenOccasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands
and armsMust have the ability to exert physical effort, handling
