Software Engineer II / AWS Cloud EngineerFTE only, No C2CLocation: 4 days/week onsite in Merrifield, VA - Mosaic DistrictASCENDING Inc, is an Advanced AWS partner specializing in a variety of services and solutions surrounding Cloud Migrations, custom web app development, data analytics/big data and DevOps. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer II / AWS Cloud Engineer to join our consulting services group.The ideal candidate will have 3+ to 5 years of experience in a Software Engineering role working with any of the following languages: Python, Java and/or NodeJS. The ideal candidate will also have a willingness to learn and work with a variety of languages that depend on the particular client engagement. Heavy AWS experience will also be necessary for this role.Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Experience in OOP with Python, Java and/or NodeJS
• Experience in setting up End to End Infrastructure on AWS
• DevOps or microservices on AWS is a big plus!
• Heavy AWS experience (Certification Preferred)
