Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer who will support a government contract located in Washington, DC. Responsibilities for the Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer: - Develops and executes information security plans and policies - Develop strategies and procedures to respond to, recover, and investigate security breach(es) - Develop or implement open source/third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats - Installs, configures, and updates firewalls, data encryption, and other security products to facilitate a secure posture - Conduct periodic network scans to identify and remediate vulnerabilities - Monitor networks and systems for security breaches using software that detects intrusions and anomalous system behavior - Penetration testing experience (burp suite) - Threat hunting experience (threat intelligence analysis), UBA Qualifications for Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer: - 2 - 5 years of experience - Created Firewalls (Palo Alto) - Expirence in Splunk Engineer - Able to Obtain a public trust Compensation for the Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer: * $100,000 - $115,000 *Depending on Experience.
