Senior Platform Engineer, Workday Do you love building and

Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing
highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human
Resource technology driving Capital One. As part of a team that's
leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will
play an integral part in advancing Capital One's Human Resource
Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will
champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring
your expertise to drive innovative solutions. General
Responsibilities:
- Work with product owners to understand desired application
capabilities and testing scenarios
- Understand and translate the priorities of the business while
integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs
of the business
- Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting,
Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized
processes while maintaining high standards
- Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner,
stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate
with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to
redesign business processes that will optimize business
results.
- Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday
updates, fixes and capabilities
- Build & maintain thorough documentation for system
implementation
- Primary contact for questions related to how the system works
from a business and a technical perspective
- Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting
problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years experience in platform engineering on HR
platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or Successfactors)
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing
integration solutions
- At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the
Workday environment using REST or SOAP Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources
modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and
Performance Management
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration
solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom
Reports or RaaS solutions
- 3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday
environment using REST or SOAP
- Workday Integration Developer certifications
- 1+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday
Extend
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or
another cloud service
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices At this time, Capital

salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note
that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed
upon number of hours to be regularly worked. New York City (Hybrid
On-Site): $134,100 - $153,000 for Senior Platform Engineer San
Francisco and San Jose, California (Hybrid On-Site): $142,100 -
$162,100 for Senior Platform Engineer Illinois (Hybrid On-Site):
$125,000 - $142,600 for Senior Platform Engineer Candidates hired
to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range
associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary
amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be
reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also
eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which
may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on
