Position Summary:
The Manager, Proposals will be responsible for supporting the
management of the Precision for Medicine day to day proposals and
contracts deliverables, ensuring that deliverables are provided on
time with a high level of quality.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
--- Day-to-day management of his/her direct reports or team
members; managing assigned workload and ensuring deliverables are
developed and delivered according to department best practices
--- Development of deliverables such as but not limited to
proposals and contracts for complex and/or high-profile clients
and/or urgent requests
--- Assists in the creation of departmental processes related to
but not limited to: Proposal development, RFI development, Contract
development
--- Help maintain company knowledge tracking, including company and
employee experience tables as needed
--- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports (including analytics and
data tracking reports) as needed
--- Participate in development/modification of department tools and
procedures
--- Support internal inquiries --- Participate in department,
company, vendor, and client meetings as needed
--- Follow applicable regulations, including FDA and ICH as
applicable
--- Work closely with clients, vendors, partners, senior
management, and other internal team members to drive proposal
operations efforts forward
--- Assist with company marketing / sales initiatives as needed
--- Participate in / lead other departmental activities and perform
other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
--- Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a
business, scientific or healthcare discipline
Other Required:
--- Prior experience working in a CRO
--- Working knowledge of how clinical trials are conducted
--- Ability to reference and extract data from clinical budgets
--- Prior experience in business operations, finance, sales and
marketing, or project management
--- Highly motivated with demonstrated history of working
independently and as part of a collaborative team
--- Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical and
multi-tasking skills
--- Strong organization skills
--- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred:
--- Four-year degree with concentration in life sciences or related
field of study
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and
Project
--- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with
clients and coworkers
--- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and
independently defining priorities based on goals and objectives
--- Experience in roll out of enterprise systems such as ERP or
Sales Force --- Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM
systems
Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a
reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This
compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors
that are considered in making compensation decisions including but
not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and
certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The
disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable
geographic differential associated with the location at which the
position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an
individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their
role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a
discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings
benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave,
and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other
benefits.
Reasonable estimate of the current range
$121,000 - $163,800 USD
