searching for a Program Manager, Graduate Programs. The Program
Manager will manage and provide academic advising for the Global
MBA and Accelerated MBA programs. This position reports directly to
the Director MBA Programs in collaboration with a Faculty Program
Director. The position splits time between academic advising,
academic administration, and student engagement.Key
Responsibilities:
- Advising students, faculty, and staff regarding academic
policies and procedures.
- Assists with the creation, implementation, and enforcement of
program-level, GWSB and university policies.
- Verifies and approves students' eligibility to graduate.
- Maintains student degree audits in DegreeMap and monitors the
academic progress of all students.
- Implements the development of student retention plan, student
communication plan, targeted student emails, managing LinkedIn
groups, and program specific newsletters.
- Implements the development of curriculum sequencing for all
versions of the programs (e.g., hybrid, online, and on-campus
formats).
- Develops and implements the program course schedule based on
course sequencing and student demand.
- Compiles data and statistics for course demand and current
students.
- Partners with Graduate Programs leadership to develop strategic
plans for program implementation, enrollment management, and
curriculum innovation and development.
- Provides support for graduate specific co-curricular activities
and community initiatives.
- Supports the development and implementation of the Graduate
Programs online and on-campus orientations including the
development of the program specific activities; and support of all
Commencement activities offered by the program, GWSB, and the
University.Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission
of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning
duties that are logically related to the position.Minimum
Qualifications:Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree
in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant
professional experience, or, a Master's degree or higher in a
relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date
of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an
equivalent combination of education, training and
experience.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in networking and maintaining professional
relationships with key contacts.
- Experience and ability to connect and recruit from partner
organizations leading to the recruitment of candidates to specific
programs.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to
detail.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills as well as ability
to handle competing demands.
- Superior written and verbal communication as well as
presentation skills. Experience working with databases
(Salesforce/TargetX preferred) and data analysis.
- Impeccable judgment and discretion in dealing with issues
