Job Description:
Job Description Travel: 25-50% Job Description LIS Solutions is
seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the growth and
diversification of the company across the Intelligence Services
Market, including the Intelligence Community, Department of
Defense, Federal Civilian Agencies, and/or other areas. This
position reports directly to the President and works cooperatively
with all areas of the business to achieve objectives. This
individual will have extensive knowledge of the entire growth
process and lead corporate customer engagement, opportunity
identification and qualification efforts of Intelligence Services
Market. The ideal candidate will possess experience developing and
leading capture plans to include formulating winning strategies,
gap analyses, competitive assessments, discriminators, key win
themes, price to win and overall win strategy / value proposition.
Duties and Responsibilities * Implement initiatives focused on the
future growth and sustainment of the business.
* Possess a strong foundation and proven ability to perform
business development activities within the intelligence space.
* Develop customer relationships and support management of existing
relationships.
* Initiate opportunity capture plans, ensure proper record keeping,
* Develop and effectively present briefings, articulate ideas and
solutions, develop and submit white papers, market survey
responses, etc.
* Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements, maintain
thorough understanding of competitive landscapes.
* Drive development and completion of critical bid artifacts
required for proposal development.
* Conduct and/or participate in gate, pricing, teaming, and capture
reviews, supporting teaming agreement and strategic alliance
development. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree with 7+
years of experience OR a Master's degree with 5+ years of
experience.
* 4+ years of business development experience within the
Intelligence Services Market with a history of accomplishments
including contracts won and values.
* Possess knowledge of Federal contracting including having and
maintaining business relationships with industry leading
organizations, vendors and influential individuals.
* Proven track record of identifying, pursuing and winning
Intelligence Services opportunities ($20M or more).
* Ability to manage opportunities through the growth process
(identification through award to include bid strategies, pricing,
teaming and proposal strategies).
* Experience writing and reviewing proposals.
* Familiarity with CRM software (such as Costpoint CRM, Salesforce,
Bloomberg, etc.)
* Must be able to obtain and hold a Top-Secret clearance.
* Must be willing to commute within the Washington, DC Metro Area
and travel within the U.S. and around the world.
* Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive.
* Outstanding verbal, written and inter-personal skills needed to
communicate effectively and persuasively with personnel at all
levels (customers, partners and LIS). Preferred Qualifications *
MBA
* Prior military experience and a Top-Secret clearance.
