Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Meat Team Leader to lead our Meat team and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering outstanding results, a proven track record of leadership, and a commitment to excellence.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Meat team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Monitor and achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability.
• Manage and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
• Communicate effectively with the store leadership and other departments to ensure seamless execution of store initiatives.Requirements
  • 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Food safety certification, with the ability to obtain a Meat Journeyman certification within 6 months.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.Working ConditionsThe Meat Department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals.
