Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating RoomInova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Perioperative Services Team in Leesburg, Virginia.Job Summary:As an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and coordination through a comprehensive understanding of patients, families, and healthcare delivery teams. You will consistently provide safe and therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way, incorporating differences into the provision of care. Your ability to use an integrated approach toward achieving desired patient outcomes while serving as an empowering body to influence patient empowerment and successful outcomes of financial and clinical quality is essential.Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, and healthcare delivery teams.
• Ensure all patient care activities and interactions are patient and family centered by integrating knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others while showing respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
• Use an integrated approach toward achieving desired patient outcomes while serving as an empowering body to influence patient empowerment and successful outcomes of financial and clinical quality.Requirements:
  • One year of Operating Room nursing experience is required.
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an associate degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
