Our client is seeking motivated Certified Nursing Assistant licensed in DC .

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
* Monday through Sunday 3p-11p and 11p-7am shifts

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Ensure that the resident's room is ready for receiving the resident (i.e., bed made, name tags, admission kit available, call bell in place and functioning, fresh water at the bedside etc.).
* Greet the resident by name and escort residents to their room.
* Introduce residents to his/her roommate (if any), other residents and Unit Staff such as Team Leader, and others.
* Make resident comfortable (i.e., assist to bed, change clothing, orient to room, nursing unit, and call light system).
* Inventory and mark the residents' personal possession according to procedure. Obtain signatures from resident/or family member.
*Store residents clothing neatly in closet and drawers.
* Assist resident with packing their personal possessions when they are being transferred to a new room, or when being discharged.
* Transport resident to new room or to receiving area.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalency
* Certified as a Nursing Assistant within Washington DC
* Working experience as a nursing assistant within the field of medical-surgical, psychiatric, rehabilitation, geriatrics or intellectual developmental disabilities (preferred)
