OPEN POSITION:
Nurse Practitioner - Geriatric Primary Care

SCHEDULE:
- Part-Time
- 12 to 20 Hours per Week
- Monday through Friday
- 8-Hour and 4-Hour Shifts Available
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- No On-Call

COMPENSATION:
- $45 to $55+ per Hour, negotiable based on experience
- Malpractice Insurance
- Retirement Plan

LOCATION:
Montgomery County, Maryland

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice opened in 2013 and currently employs an interdisciplinary team of physicians, behavioral health professionals and nutrition professionals, along with a robust support staff, operating out of offices in Germantown. The practice provides a full scope of internal medicine and geriatric primary care services in a variety of settings and locations.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a full scope geriatric primary care position seeing patients in assisted living facilities (ALFs), occasional private homes, and telemedicine visits.

Nurse practitioners see 10 to 15 patients per day in the ALF setting and 8 patients per day while doing house calls. These numbers are adjusted as needed based on travel expectations and types of visits.

All patients and buildings are located in Montgomery County. The territory for the position includes Bethesda, Rockville, and Kensington.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- evaluation and management of geriatric patients
- chronic disease management
- annual check-ups
- minor illness / injury care

The practice uses the Office Ally EHR.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Maryland NP license
- DEA
- 1+ year advanced practice experience
- previous experience in similar settings
- previous geriatric care experience
