Adelphi is seeking an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide examinations and preventive health services at a facility in Fluvanna, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be required to assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement care plans, and maintain medical records.

Responsibilities:
--- Works independently with minimal supervision to perform physical examinations and preventive health measures.
--- Responds to and initiates care for medical emergencies throughout the facility.
--- Order and perform diagnostic procedures.
--- Prescribe controlled substances and devices in accordance with current regulations.
--- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
--- Provides education to patient, healthcare, and correctional staff.
--- Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
