Job Description: The Area Leader oversees and manages the timely
and efficient collection of waste, recycling, and compost across 20
to 40 multifamily communities, supervising 15 to 40 part-time
Service Valets and ensuring service delivery meets the highest
standards of quality.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the timely, safe and efficient collection of trash,
recycling, and compost, meeting high service standards.
- Regularly visit communities to assess service quality, complete
container audits, and report or address issues as needed.
- Utilize the iValet dashboard to monitor performance, identify
opportunities for improvement, and enhance both productivity and
service quality.
- Respond to and log resident or community complaints, ensuring
timely resolution and documentation of all concerns.
- Actively seek alternative coverage for Service Valet callouts
and step in to cover shifts when necessary.
- Ensure Service Valets have the necessary resources to perform
service, including equipment and tools.
- Collect supplies, assist with container distributions, and
ensure client satisfaction.Team Support:
- Provide training on company procedures, ensuring compliance
with policies, safety standards, and best practices.
- Supervise Service Valets, ensuring they uphold the mission,
take the trash when possible, and leave educational tags when
guidelines aren't followed.
- Create, maintain, and communicate work schedules with clarity
and professionalism.
- Oversee and approve timecards, verifying accuracy and alignment
with budgeted hours.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, including the correct use
of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Offer coaching and recognize Service Valets with positive,
constructive feedback.
- Promote open communication and hold regular meetings with
Service Valets.Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Supervisory experience preferred, with the ability to supervise
and lead teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, including
Outlook and basic Excel skills.
- Ability to efficiently oversee associates, prioritize critical
operational needs, and manage schedules and timecards.
- Strong communicator, skilled in providing clear, professional,
and empathetic support.
- Proven capability to inspire, engage, and motivate associates,
fostering collaboration and a productive work environment.
- Dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity,
professionalism, and ethical conduct.Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs, walking distances,
bending, and raising arms.
- Ability to frequently work outdoors and work/drive in changing
weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company
vehicle.
- Ability to be exposed to disagreeable odors.Comprehensive

- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
- Valid driver's license

- Able to work in an environment with fluctuating
temperatures
