DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Passion for Customer Service:*Welcome and connect with each customer.*Effectively recommend products and accommodate purchases to enhance the customer experience.*Provide product demonstrations and sampling.Focus on Quality Assurance:*Only serve items that meet visual and product quality standards.*Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safe food handling.*Follow merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.*Present oneself in a clean professional manner during every shift.Contribute to Store Profitability: *Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies.*Follow inventory and stock guidelines.Assume responsibility to learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista:*Responsible for self-initiated learning beyond the standard training program.*Learn and demonstrate all standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Preferable supervisory and/or barista experience.* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.* Must have valid identification.* Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.* Special skills: customer focused, strong interpersonal skills, and food handling certificate preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
*Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs*Job cycles: continual max*Lift/carry: 50 lbs.*Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%*Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.*Max pull static: 20 lbs.
