Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our customer's operations in Dahlgren, Virginia. This effort provides our Government customer with software support services. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance. Responsibilities: * Develop/verify software specifications and requirements and develop support system software capabilities, features, and enhancements * Plan, and perform software design, coding, and testing * Work in an adaptive Agile environment and design, build, and maintain software * Communicate risks, ideas, issues, and status to program PM Qualifications Essential Requirements: * US Citizenship * Active Secret Clearance Required Experience: * Minimum fifteen (15) years since award of Bachelor's degree, or Minimum twelve (12) years since award of Master's degree, or Minimum eight (8) years since award of Ph.D degree * Experience performing detailed and complex software design and development meeting sub millisecond timing requirements. * Software design and development experience for DOD sensor or weapon systems with a minimum of 200,000 Source Lines of Code (SLOC). Education and Certifications: * A Bachelor's degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, or Software Engineering OR * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics I2X Technologies is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
