Database AdministratorThe DBA will provide support to a highly available 24x7 Unix Enterprise environment. You will be designing, building, and operating customer-facing Internet and an internal UNIX environment.Responsibilities:

  • Support a highly available 24x7 Unix Enterprise environment.
  • Design, build, and operate customer-facing Internet and internal UNIX environments.Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator in a Linux, SUN Solaris environment in a large enterprise setting.
  • Good verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Oracle 10g, RAC skills are desired.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems involving server hardware, software, and UNIX environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of UNIX and Windows-based volume managers and file systems.
  • Clustering experience is desired.
