Java/Spring Developer (Backend)
•         Understand requirements and architecture and produce design artifacts.
•         Be a self-starter and develop elegant code and comprehensive unit tests.
•         Develop software using Java, Spring, Hibernate, JMS and Web Services.
•         Be a team player and take responsibility for joint team deliverables.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS
•         Must have 5 - 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
•         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills (strong negotiator)
•         Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, particularly Dependency Injection
•         Spring Frameworks
•         Database development skills including SQL programming, understanding of XMLBD, logical and physical data modeling.
•         Experience with Oracle or similar database technologies
•         Experience with the following web technologies: Tomcat, JSON and Linux.
•         Experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts & practices of scrum
•         Experience using standard development tools such as Eclipse and Maven.
•         Experience developing REST and/or SOAP based web services with application reuse as an achieved objective.
•         Strong understanding of XML, manipulate using document based and stream based API’s.
•         Strong verbal and written communication skills with other developers and business client
•         Strong knowledge of JMS
•         Advanced skills using J2EE Frameworks.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
•         Frontend/Web development experience, with HTML 5, CSS
•         Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Backbone.js
•         Experience with EasyMock
 
NICE TO HAVES
•         Experience in financial services sector
•         Big 4 or Management Consulting experience preferred
•         Flexible to travel if required
•         Master’s degree in Computer Science/Programming or related field preferred.
