Job Description:

The manager will be a subject matter expert in IT operations, trusted advisor and cloud services authority. As a team lead the candidate will be responsible for leading our cloud operations team, to help define the processes, tools, and methods, and develop those and associated systems that will utilized Private and Public clouds (AWS, Azure, and others) to support of enterprise organization?s adoption of our managed cloud service offerings. In addition, the manager will use system analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications as well as recommendations to enhance the monitoring of various Cloud based systems

The Manager of Cloud Managed Services Job Responsibilities and Duties include:

Provide leadership and direction to the service management function ensuring appropriate and robust service management and review frameworks are in place

Achieve consistent customer satisfaction ratings and respond appropriate to customer feedback on areas for improvement

Provide Input into the service delivery roadmap.

Interface with customers on support issues and capabilities Provide recommendations to enhance or mitigate issues.

Design and deliver support and service solutions for Managed Service customers in line with ITIL and/or industry best practice

Monitoring the effectiveness of the team against SLA/KPI?s, driving through change as needed to deliver continual service improvement

Ensure operational procedures and practices are well defined, documented and consistently applied

Instil a high performance culture in the team with a focus on team work, service excellence and ownership for resolving customer issues

Be capable of identifying and implementing change within the team to ensure it can take on new service offerings.

Contribute proactively to new service development.

Mentor Service Operations staff.

Be oncall to support operations team in the event of operation issues

Manager of Cloud Managed Services Skills and Qualifications:

Solution expertise in preferably in AWS services

Experience in Managing Operations and Maintenance functions in a cloud environment

Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL and its application to Managed Services.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills

Excellent problem solving skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

The candidate must have 7 or more years of experience in managing a 24 x 7 x 365 operations environment where cloud services were a significant component.

Preference will be given to candidates that also have database, applications services support skills:

Experience with System Monitoring Tools that can be easily extended into AWS, Azure and premise based systems for a single enterprise view is a plus.

Required Experience

Manager of Cloud Managed Services Job Requirements include:

7 or more years of experience in IT Operations experience based operating systems

5+ years working in Enterprise Environments and be able to articulate Enterprise System Management lifecycles and controls.

Bachelor's Degree in related field required

Ability to obtain AWS Certified Solutions Architect within 120 days of employment

Must be a US Citizen
