Job Description:

Seeking a mid-level Open Source BI (Business Intelligence) Developer for a contracting job in Rockville, MD
 
Responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain custom reports/dashboards for enterprise reporting needs.
• Develop Custom reports/dashboards using any open source BI tools (such as Pentaho, jasper etc...) and integrated with internal web applications.
• Design, develop and maintain Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures to support BI solutions.
• Participate in multiple facets of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 
Education and Experience
 
• Bachelors Degree in computer science
• 1-3 years of experience in software development.
• 1-2 years of experience working with any open source BI tools developing/extending API interfaces to consume/integrate data with other applications.
• 1+ years of experience in Oracle database and any BI tools (Pentaho, Tableau, Micro strategy, Business objects or any other tools) .
• 1-3 experience in writing SQL.
• Strong relational database fundamentals.
