The ideal candidate has experience in both state and federal courts, is fully bilingual in Spanish, and is looking to grow with a firm dedicated to client care and professional development. Responsibilities

• Client Representation: Meet with clients in person or at detention centers to assess their legal needs and determine the best strategy for their case.
• Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload, including misdemeanors and felonies, and manage each case from inception to resolution.
• Court Appearances: Represent clients in hearings and trials in Virginia state courts as well as in federal court within the Eastern District of Virginia.
• Legal Advocacy: Prepare, file, and argue court motions, memoranda, and other legal documents before state and federal judges in Northern Virginia. Qualifications
  • Licensed in Virginia: Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and in the Eastern District of Virginia Federal Court.
  • Trial Experience: At least 3 years of criminal defense experience, including felony and jury trial experience.
  • Federal and State Expertise: Proven ability to navigate both state and federal criminal cases.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fully bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred to better serve our diverse client base.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively advocate for clients in and out of the courtroom.
