• Certification Details
• Required Certs: BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced cert
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement, State License - Copy of Professional License, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)

  • Pending MD lic ok, must be in hand prior to start
  • Thurs and Fri 7p-7a. 24 hrs per week
  • Min. 2 years experience, will accept 1st time traveler
  • Scanner equipment: GE, Siemens
  • Performs cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques
  • Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness verifying patient name, diagnosis, description of requested exam, adjusts equipment and selects appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure
  • Utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain an optimal diagnostic image
  • Selects appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure; ensures proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain and optimal quality image
  • Performs scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process
  • Complete examination in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast in powerchart
  • Documents administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner
  • Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner

    • Required Certs: BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced cert
    • Must have MD LIC

        • Unit Specific Information
        • Required experience in: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
        • Preferred experience in: aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, PET/CT
