Job Description:
Duties Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to:
* Publishes after action reviews and presents technical information
to nontechnical audiences. * Provides assistance in guiding
exercise design and delivery, including control or facilitation of
routine exercises. * Plans and executes discussion and
operations-based exercises, including seminars; workshop; games;
drills; tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercises. * Applies
Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation program principles in the
planning and conduct of cybersecurity exercises related to the
security and resilience of critical infrastructure. * Raises
awareness and improves coordination with federal, SLTT, private
sector, and international partners on gaps in cyber management
practices and recommended process improvements. Requirements

one-year probationary period, if required. * This position may be
designated as essential personnel. Essential personnel must be able

applicable). * This position has been identified as a drug testing
designated position (TDP) for purposes of the CISA's Drug-Free

below. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Experience: Experience must be IT
related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid
experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for
example, IT certification), as appropriate GS-5 through GS-15 (or
equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related
experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed

GS-13 grade level, if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year
of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent)
performing the following duties: * Contributes to the
organization's efforts to build national capacity and capabilities
to enhance the security and resilience of critical infrastructure
through the planning and conduct of exercise programs in accordance
with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).
* Leads diverse, multidisciplinary intra- and interagency groups to
design, develop and deliver cybersecurity exercises. * Raises
awareness and improves coordination with federal, SLTT, private
sector, and international partners. Time-in-Grade Requirements:
Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is
currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a
General Schedule (GS) position under a non-temporary appointment in
the competitive or excepted service, must meet time-in-grade
requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the
grade for which you are applying). Time After Competitive
