looking for an ELM DOORS Subject Matter Expert to support a
technical program that delivers Model Based Systems Engineering
(MBSE) solution in the cloud, with network, security, and O&M
services across multiple classification levels in the environment.
The DOORS SME will be responsible for the administration of the
DOORS requirements management tool and maintaining and improving
the user experience of the tool. The ideal candidate will have an
extensive background in writing and deploying customized scripts
for DOORS databases, with a slant toward automation and efficiency
improvements for the DOORS user base.Responsibilities include:
Administer the DOORS Requirements
Management tool across a multi-disciplined engineering
departmentCollaborate with engineering teams to understand their
specific use cases relative to DOORSAugment built-in DOORS
functionality by creating custom scriptingTroubleshoot, refine, and
deploy updates to existing DOORS tools and scriptsConfigure and
deploy additional tools within the engineering departmentConfigure
and deploy web pages and services hosted by DOORS ELMDevelop and
maintain CI/CD/CT pipelinesResearch and identify new tools to
improve engineering efficiencyWork closely with Information
Technology Services to define hosting requirements for engineering
tools and deployment of them to the user baseWork with end-users to
resolve ELM related discrepancies with data, reports, streams,
etc.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in a technical
discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional experience may be substituted for a
bachelor's degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an
administrative capacity with the DOORS Requirement Management tool
(versions 7, 8 or 9 preferred)Strong understanding of DOORS ELM
architecture and its use in managing complex requirements sets for
large projectsProficiency in DXL (DOORS eXtension Language) to
write scripts extending DOORS capabilities through automation of
processesAbility to analyze, troubleshoot, and refine DXL scripts
to ensure reliable, efficient and scalable deployment of DOORS
customizationsAdvanced programming skills in PythonWorking
knowledge of CI/CD/CT principlesExperience using Task Management
Tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)Familiarity with version control
systems (Git, SVN, etc.) and collaborative developmentComfortable
working in both Windows & Linux Operating SystemsMust be a
self-starter with excellent communication skills, both written and
verbalAbility to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team
environment as well as independently.Excellent problem-solving
skills.Willingness to learn business operations of a complex Model
Based Systems Engineering software enterprise.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
