employees.Job SummaryWestat is seeking a highly motivated
individual to join our Corporate Contracts team. The Subcontracts
Administrator is responsible for all phases of subcontract
administration including the procurement of supplies and services
using procedures outlined in the Federal Acquisitions Regulations,
as well as applicable Acquisition Regulations, public laws, and
Westat policies. The position reports to a Senior Manager and is
ideal for someone with experience working in a Federal Contracts
environment.This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement
(1 day per week onsite, flexible hours). Remote work arrangements
will also be considered. Westat's headquarters is currently in
Rockville, Maryland but will be relocating to Bethesda, Maryland in
the fall of 2025.Job Responsibilities--- Serve as the subcontract
point of contact, draft, negotiate, and administer subcontract and
vendor agreements.--- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition
Regulations (FAR) or other applicable regulations.--- Perform
pre-award reviews of subcontractor documents.--- Perform risk
assessments and compliance reviews in collaboration with research
staff.--- Maintain, review, and track subcontractor information in
company databases.--- Advise staff on appropriate methods of
procurement and conduct necessary market analysis.Basic
Qualifications--- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a
minimum of 4 years' experience in a Federal Government contracting
and contract management environment or equivalent related work
experience.--- Experience reviewing and negotiating a variety of
Federal subcontract and procurement agreements.--- Demonstrated
experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations
(FAR).Preferred Qualifications--- Experience supporting HHS and
commercial health related subcontract agreements.--- Demonstrated
performance in subcontract management and oversight.--- Knowledge
of MS Office SuiteMinimum Qualifications--- Demonstrated
communication skills--- Collaboration with teams, managers, and/or
clients--- Organization skills, including time management
