  JOB OVERVIEW
  Provide services and support as an Information Technology Center Support (Excel Automation Specialist) in the Agriculture And Food Industry Sector focusing on IT Effectiveness Solutions for clients such as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
  RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  
  
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot Excel macros.
  
• Implement Power Query and Power Pivot for advanced data analysis.
  
  ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to scrutinize complex macros and formulas and identify errors or inefficiencies.
    
  • Time Management: Capable of handling multiple spreadsheet modernization tasks across divisions while ensuring timely delivery of updates and fixes.
    
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Ability to work closely with USDA's divisions to understand specific spreadsheet needs and deliver customized solutions.
    
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work with a variety of spreadsheet types and respond to ongoing requirements during modernization and training phases.
    
    Desired Qualifications:

    • Excel Automation: Expertise in using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to create, modify, and troubleshoot macros for automating data entry, reporting, and analysis processes.
      
    • Experience with Excel Power Query and Power Pivot for advanced data modeling and analysis.
      
      Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
      
      • 
        
      • Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
        
      • 5+ years of experience in VBA/Excel automation.
        
        Skills Required:
        
        • 
          
        • VBA expertise, advanced Excel automation, Power Pivot/Power Query proficiency.
          
        • Data Analysis Expertise: Ability to perform advanced data analysis using Excel.
          
        • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
