Job Description: We are seeking a licensed and experienced Electrician to join our project team. This role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in telecom, TSS, and light construction projects. The Electrician will ensure that all electrical systems meet regulatory standards and are functional and safe. Ideal Skills, Certifications, and Experience: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an industrial, commercial, or construction electrician. Certifications: Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance Required Required: Valid electrician's license (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician). Preferred: Certifications related to specific electrical work, such as BICSI Installer 2, Copper/Fiber. Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair. Skilled in conduit and raceway installation. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Excellent attention to detail. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties: Installation and Maintenance: Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and apparatuses. Ensure all electrical work is completed to the highest standard and complies with national and international safety codes and regulations. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components, identifying the cause of breakdowns and repairing faulty equipment. Conduct tests and assessments after repairs to ensure systems are safe and functional. Safety Compliance: Follow all national safety codes and building regulations during installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Instruct team members on electrical safety. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all electrical inspections, certifications, and maintenance work. Prepare reports and forms needed to fulfill company and regulatory requirements. Salary Range: $50,000 to $80,000 annually (plus per diem), dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional Information: This position requires a reliable and meticulous professional who can manage multiple tasks efficiently in varying work environments. The Electrician must be prepared to handle complex electrical installations and ensure the safety and durability of electrical systems.
