SAP Integration and Middleware ConsultantLocation: Washington, D.C. Area (Preferred)Clearance Requirement: Secret ClearancePosition Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Integration and Middleware Consultant with a strong focus on SAP Financials to support the Department of the Navy (DON) Financial Improvement Program (FIP) Navy ERP PMO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP integration tools and middleware, including SAP Process Integration (PI), SAP Process Orchestration (PO), and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). This role involves working closely with technical and functional teams to design, implement, and manage integration solutions that enhance the functionality of the Navy ERP system. An active Secret Clearance is required, and the preferred location for this position is the Washington, D.C. area.Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the SAP Integration and Middleware Consultant for the Navy ERP PMO within the DON FIP, focusing on integration solutions for SAP Financials.
• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and other middleware technologies to connect SAP Financials with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications and integration architectures.
• Configure, customize, and optimize integration interfaces and middleware components to ensure seamless data flow and process integration across the Navy ERP landscape.
• Develop and execute integration test plans, including unit testing, system integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to validate integration solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues related to data exchange, performance, and middleware components to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Provide guidance and best practices on SAP integration architecture, middleware configuration, and data exchange protocols to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enable end-users and stakeholders to understand and effectively use integration tools and processes.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP integration technologies, middleware updates, and best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all integration solutions comply with DoD and Navy security, data privacy, and governance standards.Requirements
• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP Consultant with a focus on Integration and Middleware, including experience with SAP Financials (FI/CO).
• Experience supporting Navy ERP or other DoD ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Proven experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP API Management, and other middleware tools.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, IDoc), and data transformation techniques.
• Expertise in SAP integration and middleware technologies, including configuration, customization, and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple integration projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SAP security, compliance, and data governance requirements in a DoD environment.Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP certification(s) in PI/PO, CPI, or related integration technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for project management.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration and hybrid cloud environments.
