Ardent is seeking a Data Analyst, Level II to join our team.
This is a Hybrid / Remote position based in the Washington, DC
area.
Position Description:
Ardent is seeking a Data Analyst, Level II. The successful
candidate will offer technical and subject matter expertise in the
areas of financial and workforce modeling, business transformation,
advanced data analytics, and strategy. While specific assignments
will vary depending on staffing needs, examples of projects include
the following:
- Integrate data sets across multiple platforms that lead to a
comprehensive view of workforce data and trends and inform
recruitment and retention initiatives, programs, and
policies.
- Develop analytical models and support data visualization to
enhance analytic capabilities, improve access to data, and improve
collaboration and information management.
- Collect and analyze staffing and workload data to create
workload staffing model that calculates and visualizes staffing
gaps to support future resource requests.
- Build and maintain dashboards that report on mission-critical
activities and improve standardization, communication, and priority
alignment to streamline reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Leads, designs, or performs studies, analyses, assessments,
surveys, or other research to address a wide range of challenges by
applying appropriate analytical principles, approaches,
methodologies, and techniques, in order to develop a sound basis
for decision-making or resource allocation.
- Applies mathematical, statistical, economic, and/or engineering
methods, along with complex analytic, modeling, simulation, and
measuring techniques, toward the conduct of operational and
technical analyses and related benefit, cost, and risk
assessments.
- Ensures analytic processes align with appropriate reference
standards and maturity models, and implements approaches that are
Six Sigma and Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control
(DMAIC)-based approaches, supported by appropriate tools and
techniques.
- Gathers and analyzes quantitative, qualitative, and other data;
identifies relationships, sensitivities, and trends; and develops
insights and recommendations based on substantiated
findings.
- Formulates and applies mathematical models and other
optimization methods to interpret and apply information to assist
management in decision-making, policy formulation, operations
planning, or other managerial functions.
- Uses, tailors, or develops decision analysis and decision
support software, services, or products as appropriate for a
task.
- Applies system engineering (non-IT) theory and principles to
problems of process or production, with the goal of enhancing
effectiveness or efficiency outcomes.
- Performs analyses and trade-off studies related to operational
requirements or systems development; supports the life cycle
development and acquisition of systems and technologies with
appropriate analysis.
- Ensures metrics and performance parameters considered in
analysis appropriately reflect operational, technical, feasibility,
cost, and risk requirements, conditions, and
sensitivities.
- Assists in the development of training for operational
personnel.
- Assists in the preparation, creation of reportable milestones
and provides analysis for status reports and presentations for
colleagues, subordinates, and supported organization
representatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis to
identify trends and insights.
- Experience in developing workforce, financial, or predictive
models.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI,
Tableau).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, DMAIC, or other process improvement
methodologies.
- Experience with data integration across multiple platforms for
comprehensive analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in decision
analysis and operational planning.
Preferred:
- Active CBP Clearance
