Job Description:
A company is looking for a RN Senior Coding Analyst to conduct
coding reviews and ensure accuracy in DRG assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct MS-DRG and APR-DRG coding reviews for accuracy and
overpayment identification
Perform clinical coding reviews using expert knowledge of ICD-10
coding guidelines
Utilize workflow systems and encoder tools to generate audit
rationales and manage claims
Required Qualifications
Unrestricted RN (registered nurse) license
CCS/CIC certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of
hire
3+ years of MS DRG/APR DRG coding experience in a hospital
environment
Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding
Experience with DRG encoder tools and healthcare claims
