Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process product according to operating procedures and quality/quantity expectations
• Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns
• Clean and organized work area
• Assist others with the skills and knowledge gained from the position
• Observes all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies. - Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, co-workers, and leadership teams
• Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. - Consistently practices and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization
• Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies
• Other duties as directed - BASIC SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Able to climb stairs, ladders and reach remote areas of equipment
  • Able to read and write (in English) data reports and log sheets regarding critical control points for production, quality and safety
  • Able to drive and operate a Bobcat/Uni-loader and Forklift
  • Ability to work in an uncontrolled temperature environment
  • Able to deal with strong smells -
  • Have the ability to make reasonable decisions pertaining to safety and quality attributes based on operational logs and reports
  • Have a safety conscious attitude towards your work and make use of all Personal Protective Equipment that is or may be required by the job
  • Must be able to work efficiently with minimum supervision
